Our Lady and St Brendan's Catholic Primary School
The Governors would like to appoint two Teachers who make learning fun and support the children to be the best they can.  We are seeking to appoint someone who is sympathetic to the ethos of our Catholic school and deeply committed to further developing high standards of achievement for our pupils.  The first vacancy is a fulltime permanent post with TLR to lead English or Maths and the second is a maternity cover. A Diocese Acts - paid piece of work: Could you help our new project by devising a set of parish-based meetings about Family Poverty and how this relates to Catholic Social Teaching.  We need someone to do a paid piece of work to devise the meeting content. (Friday 6th-Thurs 12th July 2018) If anybody would like to join the pilgrimage as a Doctor, Nurse or Carer (no formal qualifications required to be a carer), we are hosting a meeting on Tues 27th March at Hinsley Hall, 7pm where you can come along and meet some of the team and ask any questions you may have. World Apostolate of Fatima Membership requirements: The minimum requirement for becoming a member of the WAF is to make a Pledge in which one promises: 1. To offer up every day the sacrifices demanded by one’s daily duty through the faithful observance of God’s law; 2. To say five decades of the Rosary daily while meditating on the mysteries; 3. To wear the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel as a sign and reminder of personal consecration to Our Lady and her Immaculate Heart; 4. On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to confess and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep company with Our Lady for fifteen minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.
